The beautiful rivers and woodland of Pembrokeshire are an artists dream. The two main rivers, the Cleddau, which starts as two separate bodies of water, the Eastern and the Western, and the Afon Gwaun which runs East to West below the Preseli Hills in the Gwaun Valley, both run through stretches of ancient woodland covered in bluebells in the spring. The clean air and water attract otter and migrant birds and the trees are covered in mosses and lichen.
