About the Artist Andrew Bailey

International award winning artist, Andrew Bailey, has been a professional full-time artist for most of his life.

Andrew’s first commissions were published in a book over thirty years ago and since then he has had over 100 one-man shows of his work in West Wales. Andrew’s studio in Milford Haven sells only his own original watercolours and prints. He puts on seven exhibitions in the Pembrokeshire area each year including a summer one-man show at St David’s Cathedral.

Andrew has become well known for painting ‘light’. His seascapes and woodland / river watercolours all have the effects of light in common. This was recognised further three years ago when he was approached by Accent Press who wanted to publish a book of his work.

In the same year the BBC filmed Andrew’s work in a programme called ‘Pembrokeshire - A Special Light’.
